A Best Day Ever

I was feeling a little blue today...maybe the 'nothingness' has get to me AGAIN and I'm desperate for the touch of God.

I refuse to get out of the room, to do anything but to soak in God's presence...Read the bible, listen to the music playing at the background; I just can't utter any prayer.

God reminds me of HIS great love. Love without reason; there's no 'why' in his love. I 'm nothing but filthy rags, HE chose to love me...

His assurance of love gave me strength & joy for today. Thank you, LORD!

A new day has dawned. And with it, countless new positive possibilities have been born.
Certainly there are difficulties and obstacles in your life and in your world. Yet they are always outnumbered by your blessings.
Focus today on those blessings. Give your attention and your awareness to what's right with life.
Those who wish to control you and to take advantage of you will seek to fill your thoughts with fear and discouragement. Yet there is really no reason for you to be fearful or discouraged.
For life is not what someone tells you it will be. Life is precisely what you make it.
By focusing on the good things, on the positive possibilities, on your blessings and opportunities, you can make life truly magnificent. A new day has dawned, and you can choose to make it the best day ever. - Ralph Marston

i could use one of those days. you are pretty lucky to be able to have one!!! i know it doesnt seem good but perhaps its just the perspective.

story ahead:

man got shipwrecked on an island. he was desperate, praying out to God endlessly, asking for rescue but nothing. when he finally tired with no response, he built a litle hut where he managed to survive, by using his few possessions stored in the hut of wood and leaves. one day he comes back from scavenging to find that his precious hut is ablaze, with everything he had made or owned inside. weeping and wailing, he cries out "God! Why did you do this to me? my everything was in there!" he falls asleep out of sheer despair. the next day he is awoken by a cry- a boat has come to rescue him!! he's so amazed, it's been so long, he asks the captain how he came to save him. the captain replies that there was a smoke signal, they had followed the smoke coming from his burning hut. moral? there is one there!
